Quick post guys...last Friday was at Dome Shangri-La Mall for a business meeting..wore my fave red shoes bought online...my first cheap online purchase...and really liking the convenience of buying online.  I have a few more purchases waiting in line and should be posted pretty soon.. =) Excited much!

New Year's Eve

At Piandre again for some preping up for the New Year's Eve Celebration. Had my regular waxing and pedicure..Quite pricey but hell the service is really good!  Very meticulous in their work & just how I like it. 


I love their Pedicure Dryer..can't find them anywere else.  Surely I wouldn't have to worry that my nail polish would get ruined after leaving the salon.

Just to share with you my latest shoe purchase.  Laced up booties by CMG.  Been looking for this type of shoes however, just too dismayed at those exaggerated types out there.  This pair is just perfect for me and not too ostentatious! Happy feet again!

Christmas Gathering at Tagaytay City

At Tagaytay over the weekend with family for our yearly Christmas celebration.  Weather was really cold and actually wasn't expecting it to be so.  Had to do justice though for wearing the stretch minis from Topshop.  Love them much.  They are soo comfy! Gave me a lot of room for my tummy for that Holiday munching!! Brrpp!

Christian Siriano Shoes for Payless

I was hunting for DM's during the long weekend but was unsuccessful.  90's fashion is back and I was hoping to get a black or purple Doc Marten's.  A friend of mine Vanessa, recommended that I go to Olympic Village in Pioneer Robinsons but only the silver one is available (Not! Im too conservative to wear silver Dm's haha!).  They're actually selling it for P2,500 now (even then).  I also heard they're phasing it out in Manila already..tough!  I might just get them on line but will have to get some courage to buy stuff on line...let's see.

So, I was at Megamall hunting for the good old DM's but stumbled upon this yet another desiger collaboration.  This time that of Christian Siriano for Payless shoes.  As you stylistas would know, Christian S. is the winner for Project Runway in the US and been making waves in the fashion industry.  This season is all about various crocs, patent python, oversized ruffles and gold filigree details on platform pumps and boots.  I immediately feel in love with these flats with the gold detailing.  Augh! And there goes my DM hunting...ended up buying a girly-girl shoes! tee hee! =)

Some designs I got from the net and they're pretty rockstar dont you think?  The styles available at Megamall are vey limited...and they only feature Christian S. collection in that store.  Do check them out though as I'm sure they'd be sold out soon.  The rest I guess you might just get on line =)

With Payless shoes fashion, quality and style need not be expensive! Happy Christmas shopping! =)

The look for less: Randy Ortiz for Kashieca

Manila local fashion designers are collaborating with household names in the retail market for a limited edition collection.  One fashion designer that has been doing such team ups for the past 2 years is Randy Ortiz - 2009 for Plains & Prints and most recently for Kashieca Luxe.  I recently bought this dress at Kashieca to wear for a cousin's wedding last Monday.  Super comfy dress...they come in different color palettes, I almost bought the pink version however, knowing me, i would always end up with he safe neutral color ,that is gray...see 'em!

I almost got this dress but to my dismay, the dress does not actually fall the way it appears on the picture..may daya pala sa likod.  It looked matronly on me...waah!

And most recently in the International market, last November 23, stylista had lined up for the years most- coveted designer fusion line LANVIN for H&M  Too bad bad we dont have H&M here, and if the chismis will ever materialize that SM to get H&M, will remain a dream for now...

Designer Fusion breaks down barriers and joins two most independent elements in fashion - affordability + Luxury. Looking forawrd to more designer diffusion in years to come! =)

Breakfast with Ella

ohh i just love Holidays!  Got so pretty excited about this breakfast last tuesday.  This day was so special as we got to have breakfast with my beautiful niece Ella at our favorite cheap food place Banapple Katipunan.   See some of her cute photos and me of course in my 'Honey' T-shirt from ZARA and a classic buckle velvet flats I missed so much that is why I wore them that day.  The same style of flats I've seen a couple if times being worn by Katie Holmes and Jessica Biel but those are of Roger Vivier no less.  When I saw the same at the store, I did not hesitate buying them...How wonderful that VNC makes the same style at a cheaper price !!!
